We need to serve action on global warming.
Plastic production in Japan is about 10 million tons every year. And almost the same amount of 9 million tons get discarded.
Recycled raw material ratio of putiputi
Bubble sheet often becomes waste.We have been developing products that reduce environmental impact since the 1980s.
We focus our efforts on recycling in recent years.Even general grade putiputi has a recycling rate of over 80%. For example, the milk bottle lid can be recycled into putiputi.
Using recycled materials of any color
Colored recycled materials are generally hard to use for production of new materials, and oversupplied in the market.
In 2009, we succeeded in manufacturing “eco-harmony” which uses only recycled materials of any color.
Zero emission
We started our recycling initiative by collecting used products of ours (bubble sheet "putiputi", plastic bord "plapearl") and putting into recycle pellets to use for new products.
Our initiative has evolved. Our "Loop Recycle" initiative creates recycled pallets through collecting and sorting customers' used polyolefin packaging (bubble sheet, plastic bags, stretch wrap, etc.), and produce our products.
Providing a recycle box
We support recycling activities by other companies and public organizations and provide recycle boxes.
Contribution by crushing
Putiputi is soft to touch, fun to crush, and helps users to be relaxed.
For that reason, when disaster as earthquake happens, we support victims by sending putiputi to them.
We gave putiputi as stress relief in case of Chili coal mine collapse accident.
During the Great East Japan Earthquake, we donated putiputi to many evacuation sites.
